[1] Leave the Community Centre and turn left into Newland Avenue.

[2] At the end of the road turn right and go down North Avenue to the main road (Stone Road). Cross at the lights and keep going straight on down Holmcroft Road.

[4] At the end of the road turn left into Charles Cotton Street. Go straight on to the T-junction at Stone Road.

If you wish to extend the route turn right at Charles Cotton Street and go down to where the road bends left. On the right is the entrance to Pitt Street Friendship Garden, where there are seats. When you have finished, return the way you came but instead of turning left into Young Avenue go straight ahead to Stone Road.

Please note that the Garden is a run down playground and not particularly attractive.
