[1] Leave the Community Centre by the main entrance / exit and turn right onto Mayne Avenue. Continue up this road, crossing over the stream and follow the wooden bollards on your right until you reach a tarmac footpath on your right.
[A] Hockwell Ring Community Centre has a cafe inside serving hot and cold refreshments.

[2] Turn right onto the tarmac footpath and follow it with the stream on your right. Continue through Maynes Natural Play Space as the path turns to the right and crosses a footbridge over the stream.

[3] Once across the footbridge, take the footpath to the left, so that the stream is now on your left. Continue along this path until you reach it's end at a road.
[4] Turn left and, keeping to the pavement, walk past Leagrave Primary School on your right and Luton Learning Resource Centre on your left. Continue along the pavement until you reach the junction with High Street.

[5] At the junction with High Street, turn left and keep to the pavement. You will pass Barnfield Moorlands Free School on your right, and, a little further on, a Methodist Church on your left.

[6] Continue past the petrol station until you reach Mayne Avenue. (Caution: Beware of vehicles turning in and out of the forecourt).
[7] Turn left onto Mayne Avenue and, keeping to the pavement, follow it all the way back to Hockwell Ring Community Centre. (Caution: Beware of traffic turning as you cross side roads)
