[1] Walk out of the medical centre to the the nearest road – Griffith Gate. Turn left and follow the path to the roundabout, which is signposted Griffith Gate Roundabout.
[2] Take the first exit along Claridge Drive, ignoring the redway which turns sharp left here. Carry on along Claridge Drive, passing the entrances to to Halswell Place, Wrens Park, Great Linch, Swayne Rise and Wingfield Grove. You will come to an elongated roundabout just beyond Wingfield Grove. Cross the road here and curve right around the roundabout.
[3] Take the first exit onto Walton road and walk up this road, passing the entrances to Campania Close, Dormans Close and Hopkins Close.
[4] You will reach a sharp right-hand bend with The Swan Inn public house on the corner (A). At the time of writing this is being rebuilt after a bad fire just before Christmas 2011. Follow the bend round. You are now on Broughton Road. Continue along this road until you come to a roundabout – Griffith Gate Roundabout.

[5] Walk left around the roundabout and cross Worrelle Avenue. Continue round to the next exit, which is Griffith Gate. Cross this road and turn left down the path. You will see the medical centre and the start of the walk in front of you, to the right.
