This inner city walk has a number of busy roads, please take care when crossing these and use pedestrian crossings where possible.
[1] From the Centre walk down Malham Close to Heacham Drive and cross over to Somerfield Walk. Continue forward following the signs for Somerfield Walk, going diagonally right at the first junction, then left then diagonally right again.
[2] Ignore an alleyway ahead towards garages, instead going right then first left onto Blakesley Walk and continue straight ahead across Benskin Walk all the way to Anstey Lane.
[3] Turn right and walk along Anstey Lane, crossing over Calver Hey Road.
[4] Turn next right onto Beaumont Walk, opposite the bus shelter. There are two parallel paths, either will do. Where they rejoin, keep straight on to reach an open grassed area then bear left to a wide crossing path - Upper Temple Walk.
[5] Turn left onto Upper Temple Walk and follow it straight past Buswells Lodge Primary School.
[6] As you pass the school bear right then turn right at the path junction to continue parallel to Krefeld Way to join Strasbourg Drive.
[7] Turn right onto Strasbourg Drive and take the second right onto Heacham Drive.
[8] At the bridge over the cycleway descend the steps and turn left into the underpass to join Beaumont Walk and continue, following sharp right between houses then broadly straight on for 50 metres to a path junction by a parking space where you go left towards trees. Go right, following the fence to a path junction where you keep right, signed 'Beaumont Walk'.
[9] Continue past the mini football pitch on the right.
[10] At the path crossroads about 80 metres after the football pitch turn right, and take the path by the side of the houses onto Linney Road and continue forward.
[11] Turn right after about 100 metres to join the path between the schoolgrounds and the houses which returns you to the Centre.
