[1] Turn left out of the Health Centre onto Portland Road and left again into Sunnyside Road.
[2] Near the end, turn right into Fairview Road. At the end of this road, there is a large green open space.
[3] Take the path on your left sign-posted 'Public footpath' which goes around the fenced boundary of a school playing field.
[4] Turn right where it meets Rylands Lane and continue round the bend on the right into Dawlish Crescent.
[5] Proceed till almost at the top of the Crescent, where you'll turn right on a path marked with a "No cycling" sign and exit onto Rylands Lane again (almost opposite St Davids Road ) Turn left and soon take the next left path sign-posted "No cycling". (This is the path you took on the way out). Follow the path round and you will exit onto Fairview Road.
[6] Turn first left into Williams Avenue and continue to the T-junction at the end. Turn right onto Portland Road, staying on this side of the road to return to the Health Centre. If you'd like a pleasant detour, Wyke Regis Gardens are on the other side of Portland Road.
