A. Jubilee Memorial Clock
The Memorial Clock was erected in 1887-1888 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria. Built in cast and wrought iron on a stone base, the clock has four faces and each side has panels containing the queen"s head and the borough"s coat of arms.
B.King George 111 statue
Designed by architect James Hamilton and John Sealy of Coade and Sealy, the stone statue of the King was unveiled in 1810.
c.The Pavilion Theatre
The original Pavilion was built on reclaimed land beside the PilePier in 1908, but a fire destroyed the building in 1954. In 1960, a new Pavilion opened on the same site. The Pavilion offers a range of entertainment and has rooms for hire.
