[1] Turn right out of the surgery and go up Astrid Way, to get to the Esplanade
[2] At the Esplanade, turn right, continue until the first pedestrian crossing by Musgrave Place. Cross safely over the main road and turn right along the Promenade. Follow this route along the beachfront.
[3] Just past the bus stops, parallel with King George Statue, (past the "Tea Cabin" and the old Tourist Info Centre), use the crossing point which takes you to the corner of St Mary Street. Bear round this corner and continue down St Mary Street at your own pace, past the shops. Stop to look at the Guildhall.
[4] At the far end of this street you reach the 17th century harbour front with its historic interest. As an optional extra, stroll along the harbour frontage looking at the old historic part of Weymouth with its now converted warehouses and splendid old buildings.
From the end of St. Marys Street, turn right.
[5] Take the next road right by ascending a flight of steps to reach St Thomas Street. Walk right along the road to the very end where it merges with Frederick Place.
[6] You arrive at the back of the King George 111 statue. Cross over Westham Road to continue along the left side of the Esplanade, passing the statue which is on your right.
[7] Use the underpass to cross King Street (near to Rossi"s Ice cream parlour). Continue along the Esplanade until you reach Astrid Way. Turn left and the surgery will be at the end of this road.
