Starting from the library entrance turn right and walk a short way along Jardine Crescent.
[1] Turn right to walk along the tarmac path, passing the children's play facilities on your left and the multi-use sports area on your right to come out onto Faseman Avenue, opposite Limbrick Wood Baptist Church. Turn left and then right as you rejoin Jardine Crescent.
Continue along Jardine Crescent, crossing Shepherd Close and Loder Close until you reach Bush Close.
(A) The recreation ground on your left has marked sports pitches, but no hard paths. If the ground is dry or you have suitable footwear, you may wish to extend your walk to walk around this.
[2] Turn right along Bush Close (signposted Limbrick Wood Primary School) towards the entrance to Limbrick Wood Primary School. Turn right to walk along the path between the school grounds and the end of the row of houses. Continue forwards to cross Loder Close until you join Shepherds Close. Take the path to your left, following it as it crosses the end of Thomas Naul Croft and joins George Hodgkinson Close. At the road junction turn right into Faseman Avenue and follow it as it curves to the right to the green open area by Ferrers Close. (See photo)
[3] Turn left to walk down Ferrers Close. Continue forwards as you come to the parking area for the blocks of flats. Care as cars may be moving in and out of parking spaces and there is no designated footpath through the car park . Continue forwards, past one tall block of flats on your right and two on your left, to the path between the small wooded area on your left and the backs of the shops. Walk along this path until you come to the archway by the Nisa shop. Turn right to cross the precinct to Jardine Crescent. Turn right to return along Jardine Crescent to the Library.
