This inner city walk has a number of busy roads, please take care when crossing these and use pedestrian crossings where possible
[1] Turn left outside the Aylestone Road exit onto Almond Road and continue forward
[2] Cross Welford Road at the pedestrian crossing opposite Sandicliffe's Garage, turn right and continue along Welford Road
[3] Turn left just past Welford Road Cemetery onto University Road and continue forward
[4] At the Gatehouse Chaplaincy turn right onto Mayors Walk and continue through the buildings to its end and the entrance to Victoria Park
[5] Take the path directly in front and continue along it to just before the Victoria Park Road entrance
[6] Turn left and then left again to join the path through the park to the War Memorial
[7] Turn right and then almost immediately turn left onto Peace Walk
[8] Continue straight over University Road onto Lancaster Road and continue on under the rail bridge to the end
[9] Cross over Tigers Way to the entrance of Nelson Mandella Park, turn left onto the path and continue round to the exit opposite Tiger's ground
[10] Cross over Welford Road and turn left to return to the College
