[1] Exit County Hall and turn right to walk towards the traffic lights.
[2] Cross over at the traffic lights and turn left on the other side of the road. Follow the pavement around, but ignore the path that leads into a housing estate.
[3] Cross over at the pedestrian island and turn left on the other side of the road. Follow the pavement when it goes to the right.
Take care when crossing this busy road.
[4] Cross over 'North End', turn left and immediately right to turn into 'South & North Crescent'. Follow the road for a while.
[5] After about 200 metres there will be a small side-street on your right. Turn into it and walk up to a hedge at the end of the side-street.
[6] Between the hedge and the house, there is a narrow tarmac path. Turn left to follow it. It will lead you through the houses and onto 'The Grove'.
[7] At the end of the path, turn left and follow the street around to exit the the cul-de-sac.
[8] At the end of 'The Grove' cross over 'Fieldhouse Lane' to walk straight ahead onto 'Springfield Park'. Walk along the pavement on the right and you will see a public footpath to the right of the house in front of you. Follow this path uphill until you reach the main road.
[9] On the main road, turn right and walk uphill. You will cross over 'Springwell Road'.
[10] The path will fork, bear right here to walk away from the busy main road. Cross the road as the pavement ends on this side. Turn right to follow the road downhill.
[11] At a junction, bear left to follow the road and walk uphill again.
[12] In the left corner is a 'University Hospital' sign. Walk up to it and go up some steps to get to the main road. Cross the street at the pedestrian island just to the left of you. Turn right on the other side of the road.
[13] Turn left to walk along a housing estate. Follow the small path around to get out on the other side of the housing estate. Cross over at the traffic lights and retrace your steps to the starting point.
