Description

[1] From the surgery car park walk to the entrance at Vale Rd, house numbers 79/81 opposite.

[2] Turn left and walk up the hill crossing the railway line on the footpath.

[3] At the junction keep straight on, on Dover Rd (Dover Mews and MOT centre on the left).  walk on the right hand side of the road and admire the tiles outside the doors of house numbers 74-46 (POI A). Number 62 has a very neat lawn and stone ornaments. (POI B).

[4] Turn left at the Dover Castle pub into Buckingham Road Note:  Buckingham Road is shown but not marked on the route map. 

[5] Bear right (ignoring Tooley St straight ahead). Walk past the flats with low red railings on the right.  

[6] Turn left at Little Angels Day nursery into York Rd. Walk down to Springhead Rd.

[7] Turn left with MOT Springhead Garage & MOT on the left.

[8] Recross the railway and turn immediately left through Kissing Gate into Northfleet Urban County Park.  

[9] There are 6 railway sleeper shallow steps up and 12 shallow steps down.  Walk straight ahead on the wide cut grass path keeping the blackberry bank on your left and the Country Park on your right.  

[10] As the path forks, keep to the left narrower path, then keep left again at the next fork and and then left down some shallow steps to the road.  

[11] The health centre is on  your right.
