Description

[1] Leave the health centre at way and turn right into Vale Rd.  Cross Thames Way by the traffic lights and continue up Vale Rd.

[2] Take the first left into Preston Rd and walk to the dead end sign.

[3] Turn right into First Avenue, a road lined with bungalows.  

[4] Cross the road into Foxwood Grove, another dead end sign, and follow the road (there is a broad track which bears off to the right but ignore this.  It is a quick route along the back of the houses, but muddy after rain and unlit. 

[5] Keep to the road, you can see double garage doors at number 18, bear right.

[6] Walk straight ahead to 2 pedestrian/cycle barriers,go between them, ignoring the one to your right), house number 23 is on your left.

[7] Go through the next pedestrian/cycle signs a few metres ahead and bear right, number 4 is straight ahead.

[8] Follow the road round to the right past number 19 to the shallow steps at the end with cycle barriers,house number 26.

[9] Turn left into the road, you are in Third Avenue.

[10] Turn right into Perry Street, and walk past the dentist on your left, continue up Perry Street which leads into Earl Rd.  Number 15 'The Pink House' is not pink! Check out the lighthouse stained glass window at number 27.

[11] Turn right at the traffic lights, by Cygnet Leisure Centre and walk down Old Perry Street to the Six Bells Inn at the corner of Vale Road.

[12] Turn left into Vale Road, admiring Kington House immediately on your left. Walk down Vale Road to the traffic lights, cross the road and the health centre is on your left.
