This walk has a number of busy roads, please take care when crossing these and use pedestrian crossings where possible
Some of the pavements and paths are uneven in places - take care.
[1] Turn right outside the centre onto Gleneagles Avenue and continue for about 250m
[2] Turn right onto Kincraig Road and, at its end, turn right onto Kincaple Road and then first left onto Monar Close and enter Appleton Park
[3] Turn left onto the main track and then take the minor track diagonally right. Continue along the main path to the bottom left hand corner of the park. Turn left and continue to the Roseneath Avenue exit.
[4] Turn right onto Peebles Way and, after about 300m, turn left onto Roseway and continue to the end
[5] Turn left onto Gleneagles Avenue and take the first right onto Wyvern Avenue and continue to the end
[6] Enter Rushey Fields through the gate and follow the path, turning right in the corner to walk alongside Harrison Road Allotments on the left
[7] Exit the park just after the sports pavilion and take the path to the right opposite Rushey Pavilion. Bear left and continue on the path to turn right onto the path heading towards Soar Valley College
Take care on the bridge over the stream as it is sometimes damp and slippery
[8] At the end of the path turn right onto Gleneagles Walk and turn left at the end to return to the centre
Take care on this path as it is also used by cyclists - keep to the pedestrian designated path
