[1] Turn left out of the Henson Street exit into the park and go straight on past the rocky area with seats. Turn left then right and pass to the right of the basketball court. Aim left across Fitzmaurice Road to the walkway with metal barriers. Cross the road at the barrier at the far end of this and turn right past a small area of wild grassland (A). Turn left opposite Chapelwood Meeting Room and pass between the houses. Turn left at the end and then right to descend the zig-zag path with handrails.
[2] Cross the main road with care into Wilstrop Road and turn left along the walkway at the end. Turn right and cross over at the far junction into the cobbled Bramham Road. Turn right into Bramham Court then left to Staniforth Road and turn right. Look for clues telling you when the houses were built - the dates 1892 and 1893 on houses across the road.
[3] Turn right into Wilfrid Road (ask the children to remember the spelling) and right into Darnall Community Park at the bollards, where you see the mosaic (B) seen on walk 1. Pass the sign, continue to the rock (C) and shelter and keep straight on towards Darnall Baptist Church. Turn left before reaching the bollards to rejoin Wilfred Road and ask the children what has changed. The council appear to have made a spelling mistake with this street sign.
[4] Cross Darnall Road at the bollards and turn left. After 100 yards, turn right on the short walkway to join a red brick road. Follow this up the hill and turn right before the end. Turn left at the junction and switch to the right-hand pavement to pass the pretty area with the cubes, posts and stones (D) also seen on walk 1. Turn right beyond this area and cross over at the road back to school.
