[1] With your back to the Village Hall, find the public footpath sign to your left. Follow the sign along the edge of the playing fields and past the play park to join a tarmac path through houses to meet Hastings Close. Continue down the road round to the left to the T-junction with St Peters Drive then right to meet Hollins Lane. Turn right and walk up the road (NB No pavement here).
[2] Ignore the first indicated footpath to the right and continue along the road for a further 400 m to the next finger post on your right. Turn right and walk along a field edge with the hedge on your left to meet another road. Turn left along this road uphill for 300m passing the sign for Berrow Green village. A diversion can be made if you’re in need of refreshment to the village pub 300m further along the road. Return to point 3.
[3] Just past the house named “Tabwell” you will see the sign for the Worcestershire Way to the right. Follow the path, which leaves the right hand side of the drive after about 20 m, and follow the path indicators through 3 gates and forward along a tarmac drive for 300 metres to go past Berrow Farm. Cross the track, going slightly to your left, and continue on the Worcestershire Way along the field edge with the hedge on your right.
(A) The Worcestershire Way is a long-distance footpath stretching 31 miles from Bewdley to the Malvern Hills and Great Malvern. The hill behind the Farm is Berrow Hill containing the remains of an Iron Age Hill Fort on its summit.
[4] At the gap at the end of this field take the indicated footpath 90° right to leave the Worcestershire Way. Continue down the tree-shaded path and then through the next field towards the house and garden in the far left corner. The Village Hall is in sight ahead of you. There is a stile into the garden but please take the permissive path to your right to follow the garden hedge on your left to the road. Cross and turn left along the road and follow around to the right to return to the Hall.
