[1] Leave the clinic and turn right, cross Kennington Lane, go right and take the first turning on the left. Take the first opening on the right to pass a construction site for new flats. Bear round right to what looks like a dead end but leads to an alley leads to White Hart Street.
[2] On White Hart Street turn right. At the junction, cross, to turn left into Kennington Lane. Go past Durning Library. Cross at the next lights on the right to Sancroft Street. Pass the Duchy Arms and turn left into Newburn Street. Turn next right into the pleasant Orsett Street.
[3] Go left past the post office, take the passage to the right and then follow Wickham Street to the left. At the end go left past the allotments then bear right to the open green space. Here take the path going to the left past the Vauxhall City Farm enclosures.
[4] At the end of the farm go left to return to Tyers Street, cross Kennington Lane at the lights on the left then go right to follow Durham Street, heading towards the greenery on the Vauxhall Stand of Surrey Cricket Ground, otherwise known as The Oval. At the end use the lights on the right to cross Harleyford Road and go through the gate into the community garden. There are paths to the left and right allow an exploration of the garden. Follow the central path through the doorway into Bonnington Square and continue ahead with the square garden on your left (which can be entered for a quick look).
[5] Continue to South Lambeth Road, turn left and then enter Vauxhall Park. Take the path heading diagonally across the park then go right past the flower garden to exit onto Fentiman Road. Go left, and then take the first left and then right along the mews. Continue ahead to the triangular green on the left, go right and then right along Claylands Road. Just before its end, turn left then follow the road around to the left past the school. Before turning right back to the main road, look into the delightful Hanover Square on the left.
[6] At the main road go left to the tube station and cross to St Mark’s Church; through the churchyard then cross Brixton road and Camberwell New Road to enter Kennington Park. Follow the path ahead and then bear right past the flower garden and the café (the café has toilets).
[7] At the end of the park follow the path round to the left and exit by the war memorial. Cross Kennington Park Road then go right and take the second left into Cleaver Square.
[8] Walk across this quiet, old square to return to Kennington Lane. Cross at the lights and turn right to return to the clinic.
