[1] Turn left out of St David's Church and cross Shenley Lane using the pedestrian lights (caution, busy road). Take the footpath that leads to the service road on your left.
[2] Where the service road meets Spiceland Road, turn left and make your way downhill to Meadow Brook Road. Turn right into Meadow Brook Road. At the end of Meadow Brook Road turn left and almost immediately afterwards, turn left again onto a tarmac path over a grassy area. Leave this path after about 10 yards and take an earth path. (If conditions are too wet and/or muddy to walk on grass, turn left where Spiceland Road meets Meadow Brook Road and follow Meadow Brook Road as far as Shenley Lane.)
[3] Follow the earth path until its end in Shenley Lane. Turn left in Shenley Lane. Follow Shenley Lane up the hill, either using the service road or the footpath set back from the road. When you come to the pedestrian lights, cross over and make your way back to St David's Church.
