[1] Turn right out of Prospect Hall and walk as far as Langley’s Road and turn left along Langley's Road.
[2] When you come to the Bristol Road, turn right and cross over Oak Tree Lane, using the lights. Turn right into Oak Tree Lane.
[3] Turn left into Katie Road after a few hundred yards and the turn almost immediately left again into Lottie Road.
[4] At the end of Lottie Road, cross over Elliott Road and enter Selly Wharf, almost immediately opposite. At the end of Selly Wharf, turn right into The Dingle (unnamed) to get as far as the canal towpath of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal. If there’s time, you can turn right along the canal towpath and walk as far as time, inclination and energy permit.
[5] Retrace your steps to Selly Wharf, turn right into Elliott Road and continue to the end. Turn left into Bristol Road and walk along, crossing Oak Tree Lane with care at the traffic lights then Langley's Road. Walk as far as College Walk, where you turn left and make your way back to Prospect Hall.
Alternative route: Instead of continuing along Bristol Road, retrace your steps the way you came along Langley's Road, back to Prospect Hall
