[1] Leave the Community Centre and cross over the road, Turn left and walk down Front Street, passing the Post office on your left.
[2] Turn right onto the footpath near the red brick bus stop and walk along the path with the converted chapel on your left.
[3] Follow the path to Back Lane (main road) and cross the road at the Broadviews sign, turning left onto Back Lane by the allotments.
[4] Bear left onto Front Street and turn right opposite the bus stop onto Cambridge Drive.Continue down Cambridge Drive, and where it bears left, cross over the road to walk along the Weardale Way at the Public Footpath sign.
[5] At the first hedge on the left, turn left to walk along the footpath by the edge of the field, then left again, staying on the footpath with the playing field on your right. (This can be left out for a shorter or less muddy walk, just stay on Cambridge Drive)
[6] Turn right onto Cambridge Drive and continue till you reach Cocken Lane.
[7] Cross over the road and turn left to walk up Cocken Lane.
[8] Turn left onto Front Street, by the Church and walk back up to the Community Centre.
