(B) The mature poplar tree has been 'coppiced' which makes it appear to have several trunks and it is wider than if it had been left to grow with one main trunk. For more information on coppicing see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coppicing
[2] Turn left and cross into Cotman Close and Freeman Close. Go across the T junction into the alley way between fences. This leads to a path with grassy areas on both sides.
(C) The play area on the right is popular with children in Greenleys and has swings, a slide and ride-on equipment surrounded by fencing.
[3] Follow the path, which curves slightly to the right before going past the houses of Pinders Croft until you reach a T junction with a redway by the residents' parking.
[4] Turn left past the green space, with a large grassy mound on the left and trees and a small play area with swings on the right. Continue past a house with a conservatory to a footpath on your left.
[5] Take this path, which leads to an alleyway between the houses of Plowman Close and Tillman Close. Continue through the overlapping cycle barriers into Tillman Close, going straight on until you reach the T junction with Ardwell Lane.
[6] Cross at the zebra crossing opposite Greenleys First School and turn right to the Greenleys Family Centre.
