This walk has a number of busy roads, please take care when crossing and walking beside them. Use pedestrian crossings where possible.
[1] Take the path towards the shops and bear right, to walk to the back of the centre
[2] Continue onto the path straight in front then turn left at the junction with Beaumont Walk and continue forward
[3] At the 2nd fork in the path,at lampost No 34 bear right to follow the path by the fence and continue under Strasbourg Drive to Krefeld Way.
[4 ] Cross over Krefeld Way at the pedestrian crossing, take the path in front and then turn right at Matalan onto Beaumont Way
[5] It is easier to cross to the footpath on the other side, immediately before a recycling area recross the road and turn right into Beaumont Park
(A) Beaumont Park has some very pleasant walks and some great views of Bradgate Park. There are large grassy areas and areas of woodland. A small pond and some of the areas of ancient woodland can be accessed by tracks off the main path.
[6] Turn next right at the path crossroads, just after the 5mph sign, and then take the next path to the left. Continue to the end of the park
[7] Take the left hand exit and cross over Beaumont Leys Lane using the pedestrian refuge.
This is a busy road please take care when crossing it
[8] Bear right crossing over Holderness Road and Belgrave Boulevard to access the pedestrian crossing to cross Redhill Way and continue forward along Beamont Leys Lane.
[9] Cross the road at the first pedestrian crossing, turn right up Beaumont Leys Lane and after a short way turn left onto Butterwick Drive and then immediately left onto the path to Collett Road, through the houses. Follow this path to the end.
[10] Turn left onto Cross Hedges Close and continue forward through the park
[11] Turn left at the path junction onto tree -lined Glovers Walk and continue forward to turn right onto the path alongside Tilling Road.
12] At the end of Tilling Road turn right onto Strasbourg Drive '
[13] After about 100m at the pedestrian refuge turn left onto Bishopdale Road.Continue forward over Beaumont Walk to return to the centre.
