This is a short walk from the Tudor Centre to Beaumont Park.
[1] Leaving the Tudor Centre turn left to join Bewcastle Grove. On reaching the road turn right to the T junction with Belgrave Boulevard.
[2] Bear right onto Belgrave Boulevard, then followi the road around the corner to the right.
[3] Just before you reach the junction with Holderness Road cross over Belgrave Boulevard and join the path that runs through the trees to reach Beaumont Leys Lane. Cross over the road using the pedestrian refuge and turn right.
Beaumont Leys Lane is a very busy road, take care when crossing.
[4] Continue along, taking the first left hand turn onto Leycroft Road. Continue on, following the road around the corner to the right and past the Pepsico offices on your left and the Walkers factory on your right.
[5] As you reach the end of the green metal fence that borders the Pepsico site you'll see a footpath on your left. Take this path into Beaumont Park.
(A) Beaumont Park has some very pleasant walks and some great views of Bradgate Park. There are large grassy areas and areas of woodland. A small pond and some of the areas of ancient woodland can be accessed by tracks off the main path. (Take care on paths through the park as they are also used by cyclists)
[6] Follow the path through the park until you reach a crossroads with another path, just before the exit to Beaumont Shopping Centre. Turn left at the crossroads and continue along to the end of the park at Krefeld Way.
[7] Cross over Krefeld Way at the pedestrian crossing and take Glovers Walk, the tree lined path directly in front of you.
[8] After a short distance the path reaches Butterwick Drive. Cross the road and turn left here and follow the road around, walking parallel to Krefeld Way.
[9] As the road turns a right hand corner you will see a short path on the left hand side of the road that takes you to Beaumont Leys Lane. Cross over Beaumont Leys Lane using the pedestrian refuges and turn left back towards Red Hill Way.
Take care crossing the roads around the roundabout, there is heavy traffic around the junctions.
[10] Cross Cashmere Road and then cross over Red Hill Way at the pedestrian crossing, take the path directly ahead and turn right, back onto Belgrave Boulevard.
[11] Take the second road on the left which is Bewcastle Grove and leads back to the Tudor Centre.
