This walk has a number of busy roads, please take care when crossing these and use pedestrian crossings where possible
Some of the pavements and paths are uneven in places - take care.
[1] From the Recreation Centre cross Gleneagles Avenue at the road crossing and turn left to walk along the road for about 200m
[2] Take the path on the right, Gleneagles Walk, and continue to its end and then onto Rushey Close
Take care on this path as it is also used by cyclists - keep to the pedestrian designated path
[3] Turn left onto Melton Road and continue past Rushey Mead School
[4] Turn left into Rushey Fields Recreation Ground and follow the path. Turn right just before the hedge and follow the path to Rushey Pavilion on the left
[5] Take the path through the metal barrier just past the pavilion and continue on the path through the park, passing the play area on the left. Continue straight ahead for about 300 m, pass through a metal gate and pass between houses onto Rosedale Avenue and continue ahead.
[6] At the end of Rosedale Avenue turn left onto Kerrysdale Avenue
[7] At the road junctions take the 2nd left onto Gleneagles Avenue to return to the centre
